This was for a General Manager role we had been working on and shortlisted 4 ex-military candidates against the role from different military backgrounds, all of whom were outstanding and had the capability of doing the job.
 
The client had been told previously to expect military candidates to be:

·      Institutionalised

·      Always barking orders

·      Unable to adapt

⛔️ This was not his experience, nor has it ever been mine and wildly inaccurate stereotypes like this have no place in the modern workforce.
