Our Client who is one of the Leading UK Chemical manufacturer of intermediates is now looking to recruit an Electrical Technician who will have responsibility for electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work. This Electrical Technician reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer. This Electrical Technician role comes with a very competitive salary, public holidays for this role are Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, all other public holidays. Career development will be possible with both internal and external training available.

EB5802 Electrical Technician

Salary: £24,600 DOE

Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands

Position: Permanent

Benefits: Public holidays for this role are Christmas Day, Boxing Day and

New Year's Day, all other public holidays are incorporated in the shift pattern.

Our Client who is one of the Leading UK Chemical manufacturer of intermediates is now looking to recruit an Electrical Technician who will have responsibility for electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work. This Electrical Technician reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

* Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work
* Electrical plant installation and modification work
* Statutory inspections
* The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
* The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works
* Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems
* Preferably have a good understanding of ATEX requirements, both Gas & Vapour (Ex01-04) and Dust (Ex05-06)

Experience / Qualifications:

* You will need to have a recognised electrical apprenticeship and educated to City and Guilds level 3 (RQF level 3) in an Electrical discipline as a minimum.
* Ideally you would also have training with MEWP's, Abrasive wheels and Confined Spaces.
