FRS To Offer IRP Training Courses & Exams In-House
FRS has been endorsed by Industry bodies REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and the IRP (Institute of Recruitment Professionals) to conduct the Institute’s professional examinations in-house.
As further recognition of Forces Recruitment Services own training and support systems, which saw the company get "Highly Commended" at the recent Global Recruiter Industry Awards in London, both the IRP and REC have now endorsed FRS to conduct in-house exams and training. The first exams for the CertRP (Certificate in Recruitment Practice) accreditation will take place in October 2012 and annually thereafter.
Alan Cawthorne, FRS Director of Finance & Corporate Affairs, said "The first exam session is already fully booked and we hope to eventually be able to extend the facility to other recruiters as an alternative to the usual 'big city' venues - but our prime purpose behind this initiative is to ensure that all FRS Franchise Owners and staff are professionally qualified as the recruitment industry moves closer to Chartered status".
Richard Charnock, Head of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals stated, “The IRP is extremely pleased that both FRS and their recruiters have decided to take up the qualifications programme. It shows candidates and clients that they wish to demonstrate their commitment to highest standards and best practice”.Read more news stories
