FRS Joins Ice Bucket Challenge

For those of you who still haven't heard about the 'Ice Bucket Challenge', this is social media’s latest craze designed to raise money and awareness for the neurodegenerative illness Motor Neurone Disease (MND), or ALS as it is known in America and where the Ice Bucket Challenge first began. 

Anyone accepting the challenge which involves having iced water thrown over you is urged to share a video of the event while nominating someone else to do the same, followed by making a donation to any charity supporting MND.

Yesterday evening our very own Paul Lewis (Birmingham East) took part in the infamous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge while nominating three of his Forces Recruitment Services colleagues, namely Adam Bonner, Lee Clayson and Graham Brown (FRS Managing Director). Now everyone knows that the latter is not the sort of person to willingly pour water over himself – never mind ICED water – so the FRS team are waiting, although he now has from our rough calculation 12 hours left to get it done!
