A Great Way to Ruin Your CV!

A little common sense is required when putting your email address on your CV.  Already this week I have seen lumpyjane@, Mrfartpower@ and dippybimbo@! 

As funny and unique as this may seem to you, please imagine that the HR officer at the other end is ‘The Governess’ from The Chase!  In a world where spelling mistakes and poor grammar can stop your application in its tracks, so could an email address! 

Keep things simple and if necessary register a new email address just for job hunting.  joe.bloggs@ will do just fine…..
