Q. How did your childhood prepare you for your job today? 

My father and brother were both Vehicle Technicians which gave me an insight into engineering and the importance of being able to talk to people.

Q. What's the one job you'd love to have if you weren't doing what you're doing now?

Definitely a singer or writer.

Q. What was your first car?

I remember this very clearly! It was a dark blue Mini Clubman I loved because, with a foot of snow covering it in December, it still started first time. 

Q. What are your hidden talents that most people don't know about?

It always surprises people when I tell them I understand and can explain the offside rule.

Q. What one accomplishment are you most proud of?

Being a Mother to two amazing sons and meeting two of the three members of The Jam. Just to prove it, I can give you a photograph of me meeting Bruce Foxton...

Q. What's the most unusual item in your desk drawer?

Cashew nuts. My favourite snack! 

Q. Share something funny or endearing about your pet.

Ruby, our dog, can run very fast in a circle. We call it ‘Fast running’ and always makes us laugh.

Q. What's your guilty pleasure?

Watching the Coronation Street omnibus at the weekend whilst drinking numerous cups of tea. 

Q. How do your friends describe you?

Good at listening and funny. At least, that's what they tell me.

Q. What's on your Bucket List?

To visit Graceland for the first time, New York may more times and drive an Aston Martin very fast on a track.
