EB5406: BSU Account Manager

Salary: £21,000 to £27,000

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Position: Permanent

Key tasks

* Promote Chamber membership to business start-ups.
* To maintain contact with business start-up members to ensure they are utilising benefits.
* Ensure suite of benefits, networking opportunities and training workshops are relevant to the market to ensure engagement.
* Work closely with the marketing team to ensure knowledge of events and activities pertinent to membership, ensure account managers briefed accordingly.
* Attend Chamber events and other networking groups, where applicable, in order to recruit new members.
* Build relationships with external organisations i.e. banks, accountants to attract sponsorship for events that will prove mutually beneficial for all stakeholders.
* Ensure all contact information and activities are recorded on CRM.
* Work with digital marketing plan to ensure social media campaign is robust and fit for purpose for the business start-up market.
* Understand local funding opportunities and business support available.
* Ensure new members have received their joining information.
* Work with website author to ensure member details are correct.
* To undertake any other general duties within the capability of the post holder, which may be determined from time to time by their line manager.

* Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales and retention.

Job requirements

* Previous sales experience in a business to business role.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Evidence of carrying out lead generation activities
* Knowledge of business start-up initiatives available
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
* Acute attention to detail.
* Reliable.
* Full UK driving Licence
* Access to suitable car/vehicle
