Job Summary

We are looking for candidates who have time served in electrical engineering, knowledge of Schumag drawing machines would be an advantage. Primarily electrical bias but will be encouraged to carry out/ assist in certain other tasks. There will be mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic work also (ie; basic repairs on motors/drives). The electrical work will be Fault Finding, repair and service and repair of control panels, wiring, switches, relays etc. Working on controls such as Allen Bradley/Siemens etc The ideal candidate will preferably be educated and qualified to City & Guild level 2 in a technical or engineering based discipline and have a 17th edition in electrical rewiring. You will have the ability to learn and understand the appropriate plant/area operations, related processes and appropriate customer/service requirements in a timely fashion. A good knowledge of bright drawing would be good.

Electrical Fitter Engineers

39 hours a week working a 39 hour week on a 2 shift pattern

Mornings - Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm

Friday 6am - 1pm

Afternoons

Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10.30pm

Friday 1pm - 5.30pm

We are currently looking to recruit an electrical team member for our Speciality Steel business to be based at Wednesbury, Engineering function. Within this role, you will be required to fully enage in the activities of a multi-disciplined team within the engineering function, ensuring that plant operational targets, product quality, customer service, health & safety standards are met in line with the maintenance execution and development objectives.
