Detailed Job Description

Auto Electrician

Permanent

Birmingham, Aston

Reports to Vehicle Lining Services Manager

7am - 5pm Monday to Friday

45 hours per week

Job Summary

To carry out routine electrical works including vehicle preparation and the fitting of electronics equipment to standard defined by the Motor Vehicle Retail and Repair Industry with the minimum of supervision

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To undertake electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles. Including towbars, light bars, camera equipment, side minder systems, hand wash units, split charge systems and inverters

To undertake training as may be required and product training by consultation

To carry out work within a realistic time, be this time either manufacturers, locally negotiated or a combination of both or by agred schedules of work

Person Specification
