Job Summary

Carry out prevantative maintenanceervicing of plant and equipment complete regard to health, safety and environmental regulations Diagnosing causes and rectification of breakdowns Assisting with project work such as installation and commissioning of new equipment, plant improvements and upgrades Skills/ Requirements Ideally qualified to C & G 2361 Parts 1 and 2, Electrical Installation or equivalent with 17" Edition Wiring Regualations, C & G 2391-10, Inspection and Testing would be ad advanctage PLC and INverter Knowledge General mechanical skills, including Welding, Fabrication, Pipe Fitting, Replacing Bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts Possess excellent fault finding skills and a hands on approach to dealing with breakdowns Good communication skills, liaising with clientpartments

Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Bury

£26,000 to £28,000

A leading company specialising int he heat treatment of steel & non ferrous parts for the Aerospace and Engineering industries, a vacancy has arisen at a site in Bury for a permanent Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a small team involved in serviciing and maintaining a range of heat treatment furnaces of heatatment furnaces and associated plant.

The suitable candidate will be required to

Carry out prevantative maintenanceervicing of plant and equipment complete regard to health, safety and environmental regulations

Diagnosing causes and rectification of breakdowns

Assisting with project work such as installation and commissioning of new equipment, plant improvements and upgrades

Skills/ Requirements

Ideally qualified to C & G 2361 Parts 1 and 2, Electrical Installation or equivalent with 17" Edition Wiring Regualations, C & G 2391-10,

Inspection and Testing would be ad advanctage

PLC and INverter Knowledge

General mechanical skills, including Welding, Fabrication, Pipe Fitting, Replacing Bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts
