Job Summary

This role requires participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours and can involve extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base. A willingness to support other team members and colleagues is expected. You in turn will be supported through an on going commitment to develop your own skills, understanding and expertise as an LPG specialist.

Detailed Job Description

Gas Service Engineer - Field Based - Hertfordshire and Essex - Salary upto £28,000 dependent on experience, overtime, company van, pension and healthcare

As the lead supplier in the Uk LPG market we are now seeking a Gas Service Engineer to join the team.

Presominately working outdoors, key responsibilities will include

Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out fo normal working hours

Participation in extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base

Ensuring customer service levels are met at all times

Analyse performance and identify areas of impovement

We are looking for:

A customer focussed individual with experience of delivering great service to gas consumers

Previous hands on gas industry experience is essential

Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered usefuland an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage

An industry recognised qualification such as Plumbing SNVQ, NVQ, or City & Guilds is essential with current ACS certification preferred.

Whilst previous experience of working with LPG tanks would be ideal, full training and support will be given to the right individual
