Job Summary

An opportunity has become available for a medically trained or interested person to join an expanding team of technicians to support Occupational Health practices on the A14 refurbishment project. Applications from ex-military personnel i.e. Navy, Royal Air Force (RAF) or Army are strongly encouraged. The position is ideally suited for someone who is detailed and can work on their own initiative. You will be required to provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports observing confidentiality at all times. Training will be provided to carry out the specific screenings.

Detailed Job Description

An opportunity has become available for a medically trained or interested person to join an expanding team of technicians to support Occupational Health practices on the A14 refurbishment project.

Applications from ex-military personnel i.e. Navy, Royal Air Force (RAF) or Army are strongly encouraged.

The position is ideally suited for someone who is detailed and can work on their own initiative. You will be required to provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports observing confidentiality at all times.

Training will be provided to carry out the specific screenings.

Main Duties:

* The post holder will be responsible for health surveillance clinics; to carry out safety critical medicals for construction workers
* Testing will include; spirometry, audiometry, vision, blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol, and urine testing (including drugs and alcohol)
* This role will involve working on your own initiative and may include site visits
* You will be required to provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports observing confidentiality at all times

SALARY

£20,000

HOURS

The Occupational Health Technician will work 40-hour weeks between Mondays and Fridays

BENEFITS

Excellent Benefits + salary increases by £1000 each year.
