A well established and highly regarded construction company based in Christchurch is now offering an experienced Project Surveyor an exciting opportunity to join their team. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Surveyor will be responsible for delivering multiple construction projects from beginning to end, including: budgets, specifications, attending review meetings and ensuring timescales are adhered to.

BS4488: Project Surveyor

Salary: £ 40,000 - £45000 + 5% Bonus

Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Position: Permanent

A well established and highly regarded construction company based in Christchurch is now offering an experienced Project Surveyor an exciting opportunity to join their team. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Surveyor will be responsible for delivering multiple construction projects from beginning to end, including: budgets, specifications, attending review meetings and ensuring timescales are adhered to.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Production of KIPS, project budgets/specifications/programmes and monitoring projects with respect to cost management and programme to ensure execution of projects in line with CONDOC and KIPS.
* Leading and participating in project review meetings for evaluating project and budget progress, identifying resolution measures where necessary and taking corrective action.
* Timely and cost effective procurement, co-ordination and management of Subcontractors, Utilities and Consultants with evaluation and review of services.
* Management of information flow to all relevant parties within prescribed timescales using defined Company-wide systems, procedures and processes.

Qualifications / Experience:

* A degree in Project Management or Quantity Surveying.
* Must have worked with residential builds.
* Previous experience of Project Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar
* Experience working with residential builds
* Knowledge, understanding and implementation of Health and Safety regulations in line with HSE and Company Policy.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
