Forces Recruitment Services (South West) specialise in placing Ex-Military candidates into Civilian Employment. This includes members of the Armed Forces that are currently leaving, as well as those who have already left.
Lee Clayson - Regional Director
The South West Regional Office is directed by Lee Clayson, who covers the majority of the South West Peninsula, The Scillies and the Channel Isles, from his office in Plymouth. Lee served for 27 years service with the British Army, mainly in State Ceremonial duties, and the last 5 years were spent in Personnel and Personnel Selection work. As a Musician, Lee travelled all over the world representing the country and was stationed in Germany for ten years. He also served as a medic in the First Gulf War and in the Ops Room of a medical unit for six months in Kosovo. He was a Warrant Officer for the last twelve years of his career, spending the last seven years as a Warrant Officer Class One. During his service Lee was known for going the extra mile for his peers and the organisation that he worked for and received a Commendation for this dedication from the Commandant of the Corps of Army Music. This ethos continues in all he does today and he will do everything he can to provide an excellent level of service for both clients and candidates. Indeed well above their expectations.
The South West is steeped in military history and has always been a prime recruiting area for our Armed Forces, many of whom repatriate at the end of their service. This gives FRS (SW) a rich vein of talent and experience to draw upon when looking to fill our clients' vacancies. Put that together with the strength of the FRS network and we don’t think there is a vacancy that we cannot fill! Since being appointed Director for the South West, Lee has spent much time getting the FRS brand in front of employers, in particular looking for companies who he knows his candidates would be proud to work for. Add this approach to the FRS focus of retention, and it means that hopefully our candidates will stay with a company for longer, saving the clients time and money from their recruiting budgets.
