I would like to show my appreciation to all the staff at FRS for helping me secure a permanent job as a Gas Engineer. 

After being out of work for 6 months from leaving the Army in March, I was losing hope and feeling quite demotivated. Thank heavens I come across FRS. Most hands on, proactive agency I have used. FRS managed to secure me a job after a week of being with this agency. The support and guidance from FRS was superb (first interview – smashed it and I couldn’t have done that without you guys). Where as other agencies had failed to get me back into work for 6 months.

I joined the Army in 2003 and I have completed 3 Operational Tours, 2 to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. I served with the Royal Artillery for 11 years and I left the Army in December 2014, where I reached the rank of Lance Bombardier (LBdr). The reason for leaving the Army was that I was coming to the end of my contract, I felt that there was going to be difficulties finding employment and also adapting to civilian life. The other difficulty I thought I would find hard would be proving to potential employers that I was employable and have good qualities to bring to their company, I thought though they would be looking for experienced and highly qualified workers. 

I chose FRS as I was recommended them and also I have heard good things about them. FRS helped me in many ways: they helped me find employment, but most of all they kept me updated through all stages from Application to Interview. 

I would 100% recommend FRS to any service leaver.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank FRS for all their hard work in finding me the position of fabrication shop foreman. Not only was I contacted immediately after every job I applied for on the FRS website to acknowledge my application and talk me through any selection processes, (a courtesy that many other recruitment agencies did not extend) but FRS also actively sought out jobs that suited my skill set and contacted employers on my behalf to recommend me for the positions.

It was this proactive approach that led to me being placed in my current position. FRS approached my new employer, with my full consent, having recognised the qualities on my CV that come from a 22 year career in the British Army.
