Chartered Management Institute - However will you manage?

Chartered Management Institute
Making the transition from a military career to a civilian one can be a daunting and difficult experience. That’s why the Chartered Management Institute has teamed up with the Ministry of Defence to offer you a unique opportunity to gain fully approved civilian qualifications in management and membership of the only Chartered professional body for management.

We understand the needs of Forces personnel for training and qualifications that will stand the test of time, recognising current skills and building a foundation for future employment. We can help prepare Army, Navy and Air Force personnel for management roles, by mapping command and leadership courses against nationally recognised standards. And by becoming a member, we can provide you with a wide range of practical resources to help support your ongoing career.

Management Qualifications:

Recent independent economic impact analysis reveals that individuals with professional qualifications and membership stand to gain £152,000 in additional earnings over the course of their careers. The research also shows that individuals enjoy a 9 per cent increase in the probability of being employed because of the transferable skills they have*.

We have mapped many military promotion/ career development courses against our own nationally recognised accredited standards, enabling you to gain management qualifications while you study in the forces.
