An ex-military HGV Mechanic is required to work as part of a team to provide an efficient HGV Maintenance Service to a fleet of vehicles.
The HGV Mechanic will carry out routine and preventative maintenance, vehicle breakdowns, resolve a broad range of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues and ensure the fleet is maintained to MOT standards.

Location: Grangemouth, Falkirk
Salary: £24k to £26k (depending on experience) + benefits
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide HGV maintenance service to the fleet of vehicles
Cover both routine and preventative maintenance, also breakdowns
Resolve a range of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues
Ensure the fleet is maintained to MOT standards.
Key Skills and Candidate Requirements:
Relevant City & Guilds Qualification or equivalent
Hold a C+E driving licence
Have a good knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant and equipment
Have a good understanding of fabrication and welding (advantageous but not essential)
Hold a current ADR (advantageous but not essential)
Flexible working attitude to working shifts
Team player
Work well on your own
Work well under pressure
