Contribute to the generation of new work and hence participate in the preparation of bids, presentations and have an understanding of commercial issues

Develop innovative solutions to customer problems, drawing on best practice from the many domains of the company and beyond

Undertake internal Project Manager responsibilities on major projects - understanding customer requirements, developing proposals (technical and commercial), planning and management of activities and assurance of the outputs

Build sustainable relationships with customers in an account management role, seeking out future business opportunities and managing these through to new work

Prepare detailed technical reports and present the findings of Safety Analysis to both internal and external customers

Work as part of team and be responsible for the quality of their own work in order to maintain my client’s reputation as a provider of quality services

BEng or BSc (Hons) in an Engineering/Technical Discipline or equivalent

Experience of working within Defence, Aerospace or other relevant safety related sectors

Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership

Knowledge of the following standards: Def Stan 00-56, 05-123, 00-970, ASEMS, CS25/CS29 & Mil Standard 882

Experience in the application of Safety Legislation & Standards and clearly and concisely explaining the implications to customer's activities

Experience of conducting Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment of aircraft or aircraft systems

Experience of managing Safety programmes and implementing Safety Management Systems

Experience in the creation and maintenance of Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports

Some experience in successful bid and proposal writing

Knowledge of the following software tools would be desirable; Cassandra Hazard Log, Adelard Safety Case Editor (ASCE) and Isograph FaultTree+.
